Hi! You and your group are invited to grab access to my creative playground & project space at Domino Sugar Factory 🏭 (full details about the project).

I designed Sweet 607 out of my dissatisfaction for the environments within which leadership conversations take place (like Forum, Board and Exec Team meetings), and, out of my mission as a post-exit facilitator and executive coach to help leaders have transformational experiences. I’ve feel we shouldn’t have to leave the city on a retreat to have break-through moments. And why is meeting in the city so full of sameness?

The ubiquitous board room table or private dining room doesn’t lead to the kind of creative thinking, vulnerability and deep sharing/growth made possible in other environments. These settings lead to boredom and formulaic relationship dynamics (i.e. the boss sits at the head of the table). Coffee, poker and conferences are wonderful for networking! But what about breakthroughs?

So I’m playing with something different here in NYC and it’s my gift to PEF. This experiment is another attempt at offering something to my networks (YPO, Hampton, Summit, Burning Man etc) in a fresh way.

Here’s what you can expect:

• The suite is currently configured with a 15’ Lotus Belle tent 🎪 outfitted as a Moroccan style tea ☕️ lounge, complete with meditation cushions and other surprises. It can fit 16 easily, but the standard setup is 8.
• The space has configurable tables and chairs for a “normal” meeting format and can host a dinner for 20.
• All items necessary for tea/coffee/water are in the kitchenette, along side plates/cups/flatware.
• There’s no fee to use it, but if you want to add on things (a tea server, sound healing, meditation instruction, cleaning crew etc. I’ll help you arrange that).

Availability:

• Sweet 607 is currently available on a limited basis and (likely once or twice a month). I may prioritize out of town PEF member requests as it’s harder for them to find great venues in NYC.
• If you’d like to use Sweet 607 or get invites to it, please fill out the form.
• Please look at the PEF Event schedule before you request the space as I won’t be approving any event formats that are already being hosted. This space is for unique additions to the PEF community.

I hope you treat your time in Sweet 607 as a special opportunity to break out of the boundaries of the sameness we face as leaders. My hope is you’ll come away with exactly what you need to reach your highest and best self.
